Brad Adam | CEO & President
Brad is a highly dynamic leader and a successful serial entrepreneur and has been working in the oil and gas and technology industries for over 27 years, founding ViaSat Electronics in 1996, then Hyperlink in 2003; both ground-breaking ventures in the oil and gas communications industry. Hyperlink brought to market a new auto-acquire satellite antenna directly to market, with all R&D funded internally. Hundreds of Hyperlink’s antennas are now working in over 15 countries around the globe providing critical communications to many of the world largest oil and gas companies, emergency responders, and government agencies.
A microwave engineer by training, coupled with deep field expertise in satellite, Brad applies his unique skill set to practically any engineering challenge in his way, and possesses the un-canny ability to conjure up new products or innovations almost instantly and bring them to market.
Formerly the VP & COO of Virgin Technologies, Brad was promoted to President and CEO of Hyperlink this past year and continues to oversee all operational matters along with international business development and oil and gas sales.
Brad is a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Ted Naylor | VP
Ted co-leads sales efforts for Hyperlink and is responsible for business development working closely with the President’s position to develop sales strategies and new revenue channels, along with managing day-to-day operations of the business.
Ted works with closely with existing customers, identifying strategic partnership opportunities, and spear heads international business development efforts for manufacturing. Prior to Virgin Ted ran his own research and marketing business for over a decade with many government and university clientele, and has published extensively as an academic in journals and books.
Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, Masters of Arts (Dalhousie University) and PhD (ABD) from the University of Alberta.
Courtney Muller | VP Manufacturing & Design
Courtney was previously the VP of Operations for Hyperlink, prior to its merger with Virgin Technologies Inc. Courtney plays an essential role overseeing manufacturing production of the VR series of auto-acquire antennas, RigCom systems and Geo-Link systems. Courtney’s experience in the oil and gas industry, and manufacturing industry, runs deep; previously Courtney was a drafting technologist for a manufacturer of heavy equipment in the oilfield drilling and services industry.
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons.), Industrial and Product Design from the College of Creative Studies and is a graduate of NAIT's Engineering Design and Drafting program.
Justin Miller | CTO
Justin was an original founder of Virgin Technologies and has been with the company since its inception in 2001. Justin brings a highly valued skill set to Hyperlink and is primarily responsible for the operations of the earth station teleport operation, ensuring the teleport is operating optimally and at maximum efficiency. Justin’s expertise is relied on heavily and, in particular, our enterprise level customers learn quickly to value Justin’s measured approach, diligence and highly sophisticated knowledge of satellite and terrestrial networking that it takes to run a modern iDirect teleport business.
Justin is a graduate of the DeVry Institute of Technology, holding a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology.
Omar Mirza | NOC
Omar is a seasoned IT professional with experience in both sales and network IT. Currently Omar is the Network Operations Manager, and plays a vital hands-on role both managing NOC staff and also assisting customers directly. Customers rely on Omar’s ability to calmly walk them through solutions if a problem arises and for many he is the voice of Hyperlink Inc. Omar is also responsible to ensure our network is running smoothly across 300+ sites around the globe each and every day.
Omar is holds a Systems and Software Engineering Degree from Hamdard University (UK) and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Ashcroft Business School Cambridge (UK).
